Swatching should be satisfying rather than confusing. I designed this custom Ohuhu swatch chart for artists who want a clean and easy way to track their colors. It supports both the old and new Ohuhu numbering systems on a single page.
What makes this Ohuhu swatch chart different
This chart includes all 320 Honolulu markers plus 21 unique skin tones (341 total), and it also uses a dual-code layout where the new system is upright and the old system is printed upside down. Just flip the sheet to reference the old color system — simple and intuitive. The dark-tone friendly version also adds an external label, so highly pigmented colors stay readable after swatching. It is printable at 8.5 x 11 and works well in binders, sketchbooks, and art journals.

Most swatch charts force you to choose between old or new codes; however, this layout keeps both versions clear and readable. Others squeeze both codes into one small box, which becomes unreadable after you color it in. This design avoids that problem by keeping each code easy to see and easy to flip between. How to use this Ohuhu swatch chart
Simply print the chart on standard 8.5 x 11 paper and fill in each hexagon as you swatch. The old codes are printed upside down, so you can quickly rotate the page when referencing the legacy numbering system. In addition, the dark-tone friendly version provides a second external label for deep or high-saturation markers. Because of this extra label, the chart stays functional even after heavy coverage.
